“ Nightfall”Is a short story presenting the events preceding the main storyline. How was it? “ Nightfall “ leaves behind similar feelings as the stand – you can feel the heart, but still good ideas and gameplay must compensate for the shortcomings mentioned.
We didn’t get the new part, but there is an expansion with a separate story and new characters. In the meantime, the developer has fixed problems with frame rate drops and a lot of bugs, and I was hoping that the sequel would get a bigger budget and that the possibilities would eventually go hand in hand with the ambitions of the creators. It turned out to be a great stealth game, although the fluidity, the frame and the AI left a lot to be desired. We got a ninja teleporting from shadow to shadow who was deadly when he attacked by surprise, but died almost immediately in open combat. A version with many problems of a technical nature, but above all – with a soul.
However, I did not stop cheering on the creators and lived to see the final version. I would like to write that Aragami was a big surprise to me, but I followed the development of the game back when the project was still called Twin Souls and raised less than half of the assumed amount on Kickstarter. Now, after fixing the technical layer with updates, we got a story expansion. Aragami from 2016 was an extremely interesting stealth game drawing on games such as Tenchu, Dishonored whether Journey.
